5. On December 3, 1833, Professor Caleb Mills met the original class of 12 students in this, the College’s first building.
6. In recent decades, the Senior Bench has succumbed to layers of paint applied by fraternity pledge classes and campus organizations. What’s the bench’s official name?
7. Built shortly after WWII to replace the Peck Scientific Hall and later joined by Thomas Labs, both were demolished in 2002-3 to build new Hays Hall.
8. This campus building originally served as preparatory school, later as a private home, and then as an infirmary and dormitory before becoming home to the Classics Department. In 2006, the building was destroyed in a storm and is now the site of the new Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion.
